Water Chiller

Industrial water chillers supply controlled chilled water for food processing, concrete batching, plastics, chemical production, HVAC support and refrigeration projects.
How AIM Refrigeration selects a water chiller
A useful chiller quotation starts with the cooling load and temperature target, not only the machine name. AIM Refrigeration reviews inlet and outlet water temperature, flow rate, local ambient conditions, condenser type, pump arrangement and whether the chilled water loop will run continuously or by production batches.
Cooling capacity
Capacity should be calculated from process heat load, water flow, temperature drop and safety margin.
Outlet water target
Standard chilled water and lower-temperature brine loops require different evaporator and control choices.
Site heat rejection
Air-cooled, water-cooled or evaporative-cooled options depend on climate, water availability and installation space.
Stable operation
Pump sets, buffer tank, sensors and electrical controls help maintain stable chilled water delivery.
Common applications
| Application | Typical requirement |
|---|---|
| Concrete batching | Chilled water for mixing temperature control, often combined with flake ice or insulated water storage. |
| Food processing | Process water cooling for washing, mixing, ingredient preparation and production-line temperature control. |
| Industrial production | Cooling for molds, chemical processes, mechanical equipment, electronics or factory utility loops. |
| Refrigeration support | Chilled water or brine loops connected with cold rooms, ice plants or project refrigeration systems. |
Quotation data to prepare
- Cooling capacity or process data for calculation
- Inlet water temperature, outlet water temperature and water flow
- Ambient temperature and installation location
- Preferred condenser type: air-cooled, water-cooled or evaporative-cooled
- Pump, water tank, pipe distance and control requirements
