0C-5C Chilled Cold Storage

0C to 5C cold storage is designed for fresh products that must stay cool without being frozen. The room design focuses on stable temperature, controlled air movement, clean handling space and practical daily loading.
Chilled storage for short-to-medium turnover goods
For fruit, vegetables, flowers, dairy products, beverages and chilled seafood, the room cannot be selected by temperature alone. Product inlet temperature, harvest or processing condition, door-opening frequency, humidity requirement and packaging method all affect the real refrigeration load. AIM Refrigeration builds chilled rooms around the buyer’s product flow, not only around an empty-room temperature number.
Keep freshness without surface freezing
Air cooler selection and thermostat control are matched to avoid cold spots near the evaporator while maintaining the required room temperature.
Reduce shrinkage and condensation
Fresh produce and flowers often need a different airflow rhythm than packaged beverages or dairy cartons, so storage method is reviewed before quotation.
Designed for frequent access
Door size, strip curtain, buffer area and aisle width are considered when workers or trolleys enter the room many times per shift.
Easy loading, inspection and cleaning
Panel finish, floor treatment, drain arrangement and lighting are selected to support routine cold-chain management.

Where this temperature range fits
| Product type | Design focus |
|---|---|
| Fruit and vegetables | Moderate airflow, humidity awareness and fast removal of field heat after receiving. |
| Flowers and plants | Stable chilled environment with gentle air distribution to protect appearance and shelf life. |
| Dairy and beverages | Reliable product holding temperature, sanitary internal finish and easy stock rotation. |
| Chilled seafood | Low-temperature chilled holding with corrosion-resistant details when the site has moisture or salt exposure. |
Quotation data that matters
